In the end only 46 players attended our two day event at Saunton. What an absolute treat. Good food; great coffee and two absolutely outstanding courses in unbelievable condition for the middle of winter.
Day 1 saw Adam Curtis shoot three under on the West Course finishing two points ahead of Chris Gill with James Taylor and further two points back. On day 2, around the East Course, Adam had an off day leaving it clear for Chris to win with 34 points again ahead of James with 33 points. This meant that Chris took the overall prize with James in second place.
The first day betterball saw three scores of 42 points. Dave Holland & Martyn Wooltorton taking third place on countback with Aaron Wallace and Chris Hart in second place. However, an impressive 26 points on the back 9 saw Sam Chapman and Chris Simmonds top the leaderboard. The second day saw an early lead for Mark Johnson and Dion Keyser with 42 points only to be beaten by the last pair in being Sam and Chris again with 43 points.
